Free repairs are easy to offer because I make quality work!
How do I make my jewelry?
I string the beads on thick, vinyl coated, stainless steel braided wire, the strongest kind available for beaded jewelry work. I loop the ends of the wire through metal guards to protect from excessive wear and then secure the cord with a strong crimp bead and cover. The clasp and jump ring are solid stainless steel, and they are sturdy!
What does my guarantee cover?
My guarantee is a lifetime warranty against cord and clasp breakage. (Basically, if your jewelry’s cord, chain or clasp breaks, then I’ll repair it for you for free!) But you should know, my jewelry is NOT WATERPROOF and water damage is not covered. You can read the full terms of the warranty here.
Why shouldn’t you get my jewelry wet?
My warranty doesn’t cover jewelry that’s been submersed in water. The occasional sprinkling of rain drops or ocean spray while para-gliding is no big deal, but natural wooden beads will swell when wet which can cause the cord to break. Not cool.
Natural bead materials can have their drawbacks, but my work wouldn’t be the same without them! Wishing you a week full of grassy meadows,
Jenny
