Maybe you’ve been following my clay-sculpting journey on Facebook or Instagram, so you’ve seen all the pictures.
You know I’m almost done with this three-dimensional mandala. (There will be three more “petals” around the Buddha at the center, completing the circle.)
What you don’t know is that I’m making this piece to celebrate and facilitate our human connection with nature.
I intend for it to be displayed in a botanical garden. Contrasting and harmonizing with the foliage and flowers. A centerpiece for contemplation.
What you won’t know unless you’re a Patreon supporter of mine is what huge flaw in the piece I have skillfully hidden.
You also don’t know about the two major emotional struggles I’ve been working through in making ceramic sculptures again. Curious? Pledge any monthly amount on my Patreon page to get access to my patrons-only feed. A diary in-progress for my inner and outer artistic journey!
