I thought that by taking a month off of Facebook/Instagram/Pinterest, I’d find lots of time for spending in nature and making art. Surprisingly, I got out in nature and made art, but not more than I usually do.
What I actually did more of was
1) deepen my most important relationships and
2) think more clearly.
This meant that I called my mom 400% more often, and my workspaces got cleaned off and organized. I didn’t make more art pieces, but I made more important ones and I took some big steps forward with my business on ideas I’d been sitting on trying to figure out what to do next.

And though the amount of time I spent out in nature didn’t change, I did notice more awe-inspiring nature moments. Here are the highlights from a month of clearer thinking:
