I see a lot of beautiful landscape photography on Pinterest, but when I’m the naturalist behind the camera, I find myself drawn to the small. I like getting close-up and personal with my nature photography, to be still and watch her breathe and change and delight! Here are some macro pics I snagged with my phone in the last month. I love how nature phoneography makes it possible to capture all of the everyday moments that would otherwise slip right by us!
p.s. If you like my nature pics, you’ll love the gorgeous nature photography I dig up on Pinterest, check it out!

A sweet little feather I found on the ground in the cemetery! Wonder who it came from?

Really cute little snake we came across! A lot of people are afraid of snakes, but they’re so warm and interesting!!

Pink and Orange Seedpods: Too strange and interesting to be made up! I found these on an ornamental bush on my neighborhood walk one day :D

Really awesome fossil that my husband found. It’s in a huge chunk of limestone, I think it’s some kind of coral??

A shell fossil in the same chunk of Wisconsin limestone! It’s about the size of a 50 cent piece :D
That pink and orange seed pod is amazing! Like mid century modern design in botanical form.
:D It’s too crazy to be real, and yet there it is!!
