Could you use more mini-meditations to stay grounded during the day?
Painting mandalas on stone has become my meditation. When I sit down to paint, it’s just me, a stone, a bottle of ink and a brush. I begin with a dot and from that single point, each layer of mandala decides for itself what form it will take. When I’m really in tune, the mandalas flow out of me. When I’m trying too hard, half of the stones end up scribbled all over and later released back to the lake to be pounded clean by the waves.
